Where does the family start? It starts with a young man falling in love with a girl - no superior alternative has yet been found.

if only streams of consciousness were easier to write— i’m stuck to formats, a five paragraph essay or a cnn article (fast paced, organized, to the point, boom boom boom)

maybe i need to journal more often

this year, every week is an exercise in handling one of the seven cardinal shit feelings: guilt, insecurity, discouragement, failure, worry, fear, helplessness. i’m glad. i want to stretch my skin from the inside, push and mold and hit myself until i’m the best damn person i can be.

there’s always obstacles— and instead of pushing harder, i regress back into the child i am: arrogant and afraid. if people saw how afraid i was, what would i do? what could i do?

but lately i’ve been eating bananas, and everything has been better.
